for cyclists in and around Maroondah
Welcome! The Maroondah BUG is a Bicycle User Group whose aim is to encourage cycling in and around the City of Maroondah, Melbourne, Australia.
With a population of 111,000, Maroondah’s residents own 0.5 bicycles per person, or around 55,500 in total, and 0.5% of residents travel to work by bike. How many of those bikes are used only as homes for spiders?
Cycling is a great way to discover the beauty of Maroondah; its tree-lined streets and paths, picturesque creeks, rolling hills and lots more. Cycling is an enjoyable, fun, and practical form of exercise, and an environmentally-friendly way to get to local destinations. So, time to dust off your bike and go for a ride!
The Maroondah BUG website is home to a wealth of information and advice on riding in and around Maroondah. Check out our for the latest developments, the page if you’re looking for where you can ride, or the page if you have questions, need help, or you’d like to let us know about an issue with any cycling infrastructure in Maroondah.
Enjoy the ride!
